General Park rules

• No loud noise – all day, you are in a nature reserve.
• No walking, running or cycling between 18:00h and 06:00h. For your own safety!
• Quad-bikes are not allowed in Marloth Park.
• Do not feed animals out of hand. Animals may only be fed with the special feed available for sale at supermarkets in Marloth Park.
• Do not leave rubbish anywhere (including in a rubbish bag outside), animals will eat this and become seriously ill. Rubbish can be taken away to the waste depot.
• Pets are not allowed in Marloth Park.
• No cutting of trees or trimming of bushes, leaves should also be left.
• No spotlighting of animals is allowed.
• No fireworks
• No firearms
• No drones
• Open fires – outside braai and fire pit – are prohibited due to fire hazard.

Driving behaviour

• Don’t drive too fast! On the tar-roads (Elephant Drive) you are allowed to drive max – 50km/h, on the dirt roads max – 30km/h.
• It is not allowed to carry passengers outside the car (i.e. not in the pick-up’s, for example)
• It is not allowed to let children sit on the driver’s lap.
• No alcohol consumption if you have yet to drive.
• It is forbidden to park outside designated parking areas or in your own yard.
• Adjust your speed even more at night (in the dark). At any time, animals can come out of the bushes and cross the road. You are also less likely to see any road damage than during the day!
