it Started with the 5 of us…
Tusker House Kruger was bought in 2025 by Marcel and Sylvia Baas.
For several years now, we have been travelling as a family to overseas destinations. We have visited several places in Asia and have been to South Africa and Namibia a couple of times.
The nature, spotting for wildlife, makes it one of the most beautiful holiday destinations for us. So what could be nicer to own a house there ourselves and share this fine holiday destination with you.

A Place Created for Rest, Nature, and Connection
Tusker House Kruger was born from a love of the bushveld — the stillness, the open space, the wildlife moving freely, and the way nature slows life to its natural rhythm.
We wanted to create a place where guests could truly breathe again.
A place where: The mornings are slow, the nights are filled with stars and nature is part of everyday living.
Our hope is that everyone who stays here feels welcomed, grounded, and inspired.
Tusker House is more than accommodation — it’s a home.
